- We construct your home
using modular building system techniques in a
climate controlled
environment. Homes are constructed precisely
using jigs and state
of the art equipment so that the product meets exacting quality
standards. Third party inspectors perform 300 quality inspections
for code compliance and workmanship, to ensure the highest level
of quality. In-plant inspectors as well as independent inspection
agencies inspect your home on behalf of your state and local
government, eliminating all but the need for a final inspection in
each trade, which leads to quick occupancy. Your home requires all
the permits and standards that a site-built home must pass.
- Building materials are
stored under roof and all building activity is done in a
climate-controlled environment. This produces a better quality
product because there is minimal warping of lumber, decking, and
sheathing due to weather. It also creates a better building
process and efficient material usage. Mold and mildew don’t even
have a chance to grow.

- A wide variety of house
plans are available from which to choose. The available styles
include: cape, ranch, two story traditional and even multi-family
homes. Various design, style and color options are available for
personal customization. Whether you are looking for a 1,000 to
6,000 square foot custom home, we can meet your needs.
- CAD drawings allow
precision customization with speed and accuracy. 3D renderings can
be done to help you visualize your new investment.

- Because our homes are
constructed faster, in an environment where cost and quality are
controlled, savings are passed on to you. With numerous floor
plans and options from which to choose, there is something to fit
every budget and dream.
- Factory built can buy
in huge truckloads and earn volume discounts.
- The cost to insure
site-built employees raises the cost of the finished product, in
turn reducing your target market by eliminating a portion of your
buyers. Reduced site labor equates to reduced workman’s
compensation requirements and reduced site liability insurance.
- There is a greatly
reduced threat of job-site theft or vandalizing problems that have
plagued site building for years and can add as much as 10% to the
cost of a site built home.
- The home arrives on
site 90% finished allowing GW Homes to have less reliance on a
diminishing pool of quality sub-contractors. There is less need
for on site labor, which may be unavailable or at a premium.

- Homes are delivered up
to 90% complete and built in one-third of the time. Construction
is seldom delayed due to weather, subcontractor no-shows,
vandalizing or stolen building materials. With careful planning
you can be living in your new home in a matter of weeks. Although
your home is completed quickly, quality materials and careful
attention to detail are built into every home.

- Your homes exterior
walls are built with 2x6's. This ensures that there are no
problems while your home is shipped and then set onto its
foundation. It also provides better energy efficiency.
- To begin with, our
floor and wall systems are power nailed and glued in "jigs". This
construction method is much faster than conventional and it
ensures that floors, walls and ceilings are square, plumb and
true.
- Our ceiling drywall is
installed using expandable foam glue. This foam provides better
adhesion and is stronger than nails or screws. Plus you will never
have a nail pop in a ceiling that has no nails.

- Our homes are highly
engineered using the latest construction technology. All homes are
designed to be energy efficient, which will save you money on
heating, cooling and maintenance bills in the future. Energy
efficient appliances are also available.
- GW Homes are energy
efficient because they are built with 2x6 exterior walls with R19
insulation and R30 roof insulation.
- System built homes are
built faster because more craftsmen work on your home at the same
time. This reduces the time for construction loans and saves you
money.
- Simultaneous site
preparation and home production allow for faster delivery of the
final product to the customer.
- And best of all TIME. A
homeowner can receive the keys to their newly built custom home
within 90 days of placing their order. Compare that to the time
line of a site built home.
- Less regulatory hassles
and site inspections because modular homes build to preemptive
regional building codes and are inspected by third party agencies
at the factory.

- Our homes qualify for
normal mortgage programs. The same mortgage rules and regulations
apply to purchasing a GW Homes home as to a site-built home.
